Great Ocean Sports Festival
7 - 8 Feb 2009
 This two day event is a sporting and water festival involving five sporting clubs in the Apollo Bay. The event will feature the following: Great Ocean Swim, Dash for Cash, Otway Adventure Race, Apollo Bay Sailing regatta, one mile Board Paddle, Great Ocean Team Surfing Challenge, Phil Anderson Cycling Criterium, The Big Catch fishing competition and 5 and 10 kilometre Beach Run.

 The full Otway Odyssey mountain bike race sets a challenging 100 kilometre course starting at Apollo Bay down at the ocean and leading you on a journey through the ranges to the small township of Forrest.

Apollo Bay Music Festival

 The 17th Apollo Bay Music Festival is being held on the weekend of 27th, 28th 29th March, 2009. As always, there is something for everyone, from the popular kids’ tent with its shows and workshops, through to youth performances, rock, blues, hip hop, jazz, gospel, classical and street theatre.
